I Red Hot Chili Peppers nascono nel 1983 in California; la prima formazione era
composta da Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Jack Irons e Hillel Slovak.

La band passa
alla Warner e nel 1991 pubblica "Blood Sugar Sex Magik". L’album vende oltre un
milione di copie in tutto il mondo, e i Peppers partono così per un lungo tour
internazionale. A due tappe dalla fine John Frusciante lascia il gruppo,
sostituito prima da Jack Marshall e poi da DaveNavarro.
