Dopo ‘What the Hell’, Avril Lavigne torna con un nuovo singolo, ‘Smile’, secondo estratto dal suo nuovo album ‘Goodbye Lullaby’.
La scelta di Avril come nuovo singolo sarebbe stata ‘Push’, ma la casa discografica ha preso un’altra decisione e ha voluto questa canzone, inno sfrenato al pop-rock.
Nonostante la cantante insista nel dichiarare che questo album non è incentrato sulla sua separazione dal marito, sembra proprio un pezzo post-rottura. ‘Goodbye Lullaby’ è il quarto album della cantante e si compone di 14 tracce.
