Il singolo "Makes me wonder" che segna il ritorno della band americana, a cinque anni dal pluripremiato "Songs about Jane" (oltre otto milioni di copie vendute nel mondo).

Il nuovo cd "It won't be soon before long" uscirà a maggio, prodotto da Mark Enderl e Maroon 5, definito dalla stessa band "un lavoro dal ritmo sostenuto, ma in cui sono presenti anche momenti molto melodici".

Adam Levine afferma: "Il primo disco ha avuto un tale successo che siamo rimasti spaventati. Eravamo nervosi e volevamo più tempo possibile per poter realizzare quello che finalmente volevamo. Ci siamo impuntati sulla qualità del disco e quando ci sono cinque persone preoccupate per questo, è naturale che ci metti molto tempo..."
